The patent describes a lever, and hook designed to facilitate attaching thills to carriage axles. A third piece useful in some forms of thill to axle linkage is included.
The tool as produced includes open end wrench openings on the end of the lever handle. One variant also has a wrench opening on the "hook" piece. This wrench function is not shown in the patent drawings nor mentioned in the specifications. |
