Description: |
The wrench is a quick-adjust with spring loaded pawls inside the movable jaw that engage rack teeth on the bar to hold adjustment, and with provision to disengage the pawls to retract the jaw. The pawls are inset in the sides of the movable jaw - in contrast to the "Bivin" patent (515,645) where the pawls are on the upper surface of the movable jaw.
Known example has no markings to indicate the manufacturer. An unmarked wooden model was found in a Kansas antique shop.
