Description:

The design has a rocking bearing surface at the front of the adjusting knurl. This bearing and the replaceable toothed jaw surface on the fixed jaw was carried over to Cochran's April 21, 1908 patent (no. 885,322) and appears in the Cochran pipe wrench.
