Jeff Joslin Vintage Machinery entry for Jones Superior Machine Co.
|
Description: |
"This invention relates to a sawing machine such, for example, as may be used advantageously in cutting wood... For example, the beams entering into the construction of a gable roof, particularly where dormer windows are provided, require a cutting of their ends in directions which are oblique to both the sides and edges of the beams. Such a double oblique cut may not be obtained in a single operation with sawing machines of the present time, so far as I am aware." |
