| Abstract:
The object of my present invention is to construct a compass (for mechanical purposes) that will be durable and may be readily adjusted to meet all the requirements necessary to the complete workings of an implement of this class and my present invention consists in the arrangement or combination of parts, and in the novel way of attaching to and operating or adjusting the position of the legs proper of a compass.
Claim:
In combination with the legs of a compass, the adjusting-arms pivotally attached to said legs by means of the metal yokes D, having arms t t, and set-screws, as specified, said adjusting-arms secured at their upper end by a set-screw. |
