Description: |
The pivot is an oblong stud as in normal slip-joint pliers. One handle is slid through a center slot in the other handle and later reinforced on the side. This is an effort to accomplish a "slip-joint box-joint" pliers.
Compare F.C. Billings' May 16, 1916 patent 1,183,525 which accomplished that aim through a manufacturing process. |
