Description: |
This nail puller was produced by Bridgeport Hardware Mfg. Co., and a great many of them were sold over the years. According to the patent specification, "The essential feature of the invention is that the movable jaw and jaw-lever are formed integral from a blank of sheet metal... To form the integral jaw and jaw-lever, the blank is folded at its mid-length, the wings lying parallel, but at just sufficient distance apart to permit the fixed jaw to pass between them..." |
