Description:
The invention is a large swing saw for cutting structural steel. Such a saw has a motor as large as 50 HP and weight as much as half a ton. The invention provides a mechanism for such a saw where the blade is carried on an arm attached to the motor housing through a large ball bearing cartridge co-axial with the motor's output shaft.
