Abstract:

The object of this invention is to provide an apparatus for regulating the length of ladies and children's dress-skirts and coats and at the same time providing a form upon which the edge of the skirt can be formed into a level hem at any required height from the floor.

Claim:

The hemmer-guide consisting of a suitably shaped base carrying two vertical posts on which slides a horizontal riser-bar, locked by means of a setscrew and carrying a horizon-tally-curved guide-bar one end of which is free to allow the formed hem to slide off.
