Description: |
Claim:
In the turning of commutator bars it has been the practice to assemble these bars with insulating material between them in their final annular position anduto clamp the bars so assembled so that the surfaces of the bars may be turned. The ordinary commutator bars have the insides of the bars turned and are also provided with anchor parts which with the bars assembled form a dovetail ring on the inner periphery of the commutator. Difficulty has been experienced in turning the insides of the bars and the beveled surfaces of these anchor parts with rapidity |
