Claim:
Our invention relates to drilling machinery, especially to the type known as sensitive drills, in which high speeds of rotation of the tool-spindle are employed.
It is the object of our invention to provide new and improved means for causing rotation of the tool-spindle; further to provide new and improved means for rotating the tool-spindle at high speeds without jar and at uniform rate at the tool-spindle; further, to provide novel means whereby reversals of rotation of the tool-spindle are instantly obtained; and, further, to provide novel means for quick cessation of rotation of the tool-spindle. |
