Description: |
Claim:
Another object of the invention has been to provide a combined automatic and auxiliary lubricant pump constructed as a compact simplified unit which may conveniently be removed from the front of the apron for inspection or servicing and which projects directly into an oil reservoir formed in the apron so that the oil is received into both pumps directly from the reservoir. A further object has been to provide a pump assembly of this nature having passageways formed directly in the pump casings so that the respective displacement chambers of each pump unit interconnect with the displacement chambers of the other, such that a single pair of delivery arteries supplies oil in common from either pump to the point of discharge thus simplifying the lubricant distribution system. |
