Claim:
My invention relates to lathe mechanism adapted especially for repetitional work, and it is the object of my invention to provide new and improved means for feeding a tool or tools with relation to the work; further, to provide new and improved means whereby to feed a tool or tools into the work and return the same out of the work and to cause automatic cessation of movement of the tool or tools; further, to provide novel manual control means for initiating feeding movement of the tool or tools; further, to provide novel means for interrupting the power means for feeding the tool or vtools upon completion of the cycle of operations upon the work; further, to provide novel means for maintaining such interruption and for feeding the tool or tools by hand; further, to provide novel means for controlling the rotation of the work; and, further, to provide novel means for automatically controlling the feeding movements of the tool or tools and the rotative movements of the work with relation to said feeding movements. |
