Description:
We do not know who might have used this patent. See also patent 715,922. In addition, patents 819,261 and 893,701 were granted to co-assignees Wood and Benjamin, respectively; the patents relate to extruding metal in a foundry. G. H. Benjamin had a PhD in engineering, specializing in electrical induction and induction heating; he seems to have been a professional inventor. In part because his name is so common, we were not able to learn anything useful about W. A. Wood.
