Description: |
The patent describes a "C-clamp" device with tapering socket and sliding wedge which would provide a bench mount to hold a "MOLE SELF-GRIP WRENCH." The clamp includes pads to protect the surface of the table or bench.
The clamp was described in the November, 1971 POPULAR Science; some contemporary items describe the clamp as the "Mole Table Clamp."
The patent drawing includes the handles and "lock release" of the MOLE SELF-GRIP WRENCH as produced.
As an aside, LEVERAGE TOOLS (Glenvil, Nebraska) also produced a "bench clamp" accessory for the LEVERWRENCH. |
