Description: |
A 1926 article on reform in regulating proprietary medicines in "Reports of the Council on Pharmacy and Chemistry of the American Medical Association" says, "Aquazone is stated by the Aquazone Laboratories, Inc., Los Angeles, Calif., to be a supersaturated solution of oxygen in water carrying approximately five and one-half times as much dissolved oxygen as ordinary water..." Aquazone was supposed to kill bacteria and "toxins". In short, this patent covers a method of producing a quack remedy. See also US patent 1,469,581. Of peripheral interest because the inventor had earlier patented steam engines, steam engine governors, and internal combustion engines. |
