| Improvements to the power hacksaw of patents 1,211,964 and 1,334,166; the latter patent provided a pneumatic cushioning means to gradually build up feed pressure but was found to take too long to build sufficient force and would then tend to apply too much force. This patent replaces this pneumatic cushion mechanism with a spring-controlled mechanism. |
