"A machine for producing templets comprises a transversely sliding tool-saddle d carrying the drill or other tool c, and a narrow templet-carrying bar b traversable axially of the machine and so disposed in the fixed table a that holes are not required in the templet at this position. Both saddle and carrier-bar have vernier scales for adjustment. Transverse bars of hard wood are fitted in the table under the path of the tool, so that the tools are not injured after the templet is perforated..." |
