Description: |
Screw-adjustable rack within the main shank of the wrench, combined with a spring-loaded pawl within the body of the movable jaw. This arrangement provides quick- and screw-adjustment for the wrench opening.
Known example stamped, "MF'D BY H. W. BAUM EVANS MILLS, N.Y. PAT. OCT. 1, 1907" differs in some details from the patent drawing - the shape of the pawl in the movable jaw and aspects of the adjusting knob at the end of the handle. |
