Description: |
The handle has a circular bearing against the "inner" jaw. A link on the "inner" jaw has a pin which fits in a groove in the handle. The "inner" jaw slides on the shank of the "outer" jaw. The shank of the "outer" jaw is connected to the handle by a pivot pin located eccentric to the center of rotation, so that pulling on the handle closes the jaws.
This patent is noted in patent no. 741,841. |
