Description: |
Quick adjust; paired pawls with teeth a "half click" apart engage rack teeth on the main shank for size adjustment. The pawls are held in engagement with the rack teeth by leaf springs and lifted by a looped wire yoke. The pipe gripping teeth on the movable jaw have a spring to help provide the "grip and release" action needed by pipe wrenches. The wrench could also be constructed with smooth jaws. |
