Description: |
Pliers - knife combination tool with interchangeable auxiliary tools such as gimlet, awl, corkscrew, screwdriver, etc. One handle of the pliers serves as the retaining spring for the interchangeable tools. When the pliers are closed, and a swinging latch on the end of the handle holds is closed, the spring clamps against the end of the auxiliary tool. One side of the case is a rule.
Patent no. 647,528 is Schmidt's "improved" version of the tool. |
