Description:
The angle of the knife blade to sharpener edge provides a scraping action. The adjustable feature allows for most of the hard sharpener material to be used.

Several household specialty tools incorporating this patent have been observed. Most have a variety of blade sharpeners; some incorporate glass cutters, etc. From ads in THE BILLBOARD, it appears APEX NOVELTY CO. (Chicago) may have been the source for these tools. An example matching the figure in the BILLBOARD ad is marked only with the patent number, and incorporates a glass cutter wheel in the handle.
