Description: |
In the late 1890s, inventor Hazelton ran a Philadelphia maker of switches and switchboards, F. D. Hazelton & Co. In 1902, motivated by problems he experienced in manufacturing knife switches, he invented a metal-cutting tablesaw. It was made by a new business, Hazelton & Donald Machine Co. They only lasted a year before selling the business to Hub Machine & Tool Co. |
