Description: |
The jaws are connected by links. The handle has pivotal attachment to one jaw and moves the other jaw by wedge / cam action. With flat jaws for nuts this results in a non-slip grip. The size of the jaw opening is not adjustable. With alligator type jaws, this results in grip and release action suitable for a pipe wrench.
Known example of the nut wrench version is marked "PATENT APPLIED FOR. // THE JACOBY WRENCH." |
