Jones's book, "Planers, Matchers and Molders in America", "Investigation has not revealed machines of this type being built, or if they were, they did not become important in the marketplace."The book, "A History of American Manufactures, from 1608 to 1860, Volume II", by John Leander Bishop et. al., lists this patents as one of the most important patents of 1848. |
