Description: |
The blanks at the start of the process have previously been forged and shaped into a hollow cylinder with a solid extension on one side.
The patented apparatus comprise a punch, die and former. The former changes the shape of the cylindrical portion to a rectangle. The objective is to form jaw shapes without using milling processes. |
