"A right-handed sawyer usually places his right hip against the log... Back and forth swaying movement of the body, in the sawing operation, causes excessive wear on the clothing. In addition, the clothing usually becomes wet from moisture in the logs and is stained and otherwise disfigured by contact with the logs.
