Stan Schulz BRASSELL Wrench edited from Nov. 1895 HARDWARE (FLICKR)
|
Description: |
The socket is formed of two jaw sections with fine rack teeth on the exterior faces that can be positioned within a tapered seat in the "T" handle to adjust the size. A compression spring between the two jaw sections keeps them open and engaged with the enclosing seat.
Ken Cope's "American Wrench Makers 1830-1930" notes an 1895 IRON AGE item about the wrench's production. |
