Description: |
One tightens this chuck by first pressing and then twisting the outer shell so as to force an interior collet against a tapered section of the chuck body, expanding the collet against the inside of the outer shell and gripping the shell so that the threads between the interior collet and chuck body press the conical section of the outer shell against the jaws, thereby tightening the jaws onto the bit. |
