Description: |
Roller jaw pipe wrench, with gripping teeth on the large gear teeth. The roller jaw is pushed toward the fixed hook jaw by a compression spring.
In use, the gear teeth would soon be deformed and render the mechanism inoperable. Workable roller jaw pipe wrenches like the BROWNING (pat no. 171,982) and CRAFT ((pat. no 870,781) have the gear teeth separate from the pipe gripping surface. |
