Description: |
Four blades, each of which can be extended straight or set at right angle to the handle. The FOUR-IN-ONE screwdriver was described and pictured in April 1952 POPULAR MECHANICS.
By 1964, an updated version of the screwdriver appears as a combination of two straight and one "recessed head" screwdrivers on a reversible ratchet VERSATOOL 6-in-One screwdriver from Shelton Products, Inc. -- (see also patent no. 2,989,881 and 3799226).
Compare the blades to those in the BILLINGS & SPENCER multi-blade screwdriver based on patent no. 554,046. The specifications also cited patent nos. 195,319, 537,246, 750,182 and 1,656,259 as references.
