Description:
Specialty pliers designed to align the type-bars of typewriters. The alignment is accomplished by slight bends of the shank of the the type-bars.

The same principle could be altered in scale for bending or straightening lighter or heavier metal.

They are noted as "Nine prongs" in works on typewriter maintenance and repair. A known unmarked example is seven inches long overall.
