Description: |
Several alternative wire or flat steel spring clips with the long axis parallel to the length of the socket are shown and described. They are held by grooves or recesses in the interior surface of the socket. They function to hold the spark plug firmly to enable working with hot spark plugs, and to protect the porcelain from damage.
