MESNARD's Pliers
Description:
The jaw tips are designed to hold wire or cotter pins at an angle to give a clear view of work area. The tool includes a wire cutter close to the pivot (the small hole adjacent to the pivot), and notches which form a wrench for "Prest-O-Lite" valves.

The 1912 producer's name is taken from a November 7, 1912 "new product" announcement in "THE AUTOMOBILE," pgs. 976 & 977.

One known example is marked "PAT. APPL'D FOR," another has "MESNARD" and the patent date. One handle end is shaped as a screwdriver.
