Description: |
The outer sleeve rotates the sliding loop carrying the top of the jaws. The top of the rotating sleeve is either formed with flats to be turned by a secondary wrench, or with holes for insertion of a rod handle. The drawing shows the rod handle version. The jaws are spread apart by a compression spring, and closed by the taper of the outer sleeve.
The specifications describe it as useful for the square shafts of water stops. An alternate tri-cornered jaw form for hex nuts is also described. |
