Description:
The patent is an improvement of Heimbach's June 8, 1915 patent (no. 1,142,426). The improvements are the curved handle which enables the head to reach into places difficult of access, modifications to the adjusting lever, and the movement stop lug at the top of the extension on the movable jaw.

Extant Heimbach wrenches marked HEIMBACH PATENT 1915 incorporate some of the features noted in this patent -- most notably the movement stop on the jaw extension The curved end of the fixed jaw replaces the "hammer poll" jaw shown in the 1915 patent and appearing on the corresponding QUICK GRIP WRENCH CO. wrench.
