Hammond produced this wrench as a full-size monkey wrench with nickel plated metal sides and wood handle before selling the patent to J.H. Williams and Co.
A known 8 inch example is marked H. Hammond Pat 9-3-1889. After the patent was re-issued (RE11,277) and assigned to J.H. Williams & Co, they produced the wrench as an all-metal pocket wrench.
