Vintage Machinery entry for Silver & Deming Mfg. Co.
Description:
"This invention relates to games, and more especially to a device that is adapted for use in playing a game that combines some of the features of billiards with those of bowling, the game being played with a billiard cue and balls or with mallets and balls, said balls being used for striking bowling pins."

William L. Deming was probably son of the founder of woodworking machinery maker Silver & Deming, which split in 1890 into Silver Mfg. Co. and The Deming Co. The woodworking machinery line went to Silver.
