Description: |
The broad chain and heavy head give the appearance of an unusual chain wrench. The patent describes it in relation to disassembling automotive exhaust systems. Once clamped tight, the heavy head would accept hammer blows to help pull rusted friction-fit joints apart.
The "References" cite patent nos. 489,048, 633,709, 770,165, 1,245,062, 1,316,875, 1,320,815, 1,407,238, and two French patents.
