Description: |
This semi self-adjusting pipe and nut wrench has two movable jaws. The "outer" jaw is attached to the handle by a pivot, and houses the sliding "inner jaw". The back side of the "inner" jaw has rack teeth that engage similar teeth on the side of the handle. A tension spring pushes the double jaws toward engagement with the handle. In use, the combined jaws are swung away from the handle and adjusted to fit the object to be engaged, and then the motion of the handle and meshing rack teeth tighten the grip. |
