| Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts in all the figures. This invention consists in a saddle or supplementary block so constructed as to be easily fitted and retained within the carrier, whereby it may be employed with, much greater convenience for holding shafts or other articles of widely different diameters during the operation of turning the same than is the case with the carriers ordinarily in use.
