Assignee Bolens owned Gilson Mfg. Co., which made engine-powered dragsaws. Gilson also manufactured on behalf of the Beeman Garden Tractor Co.; it is not known whether this "fan governor for thrashing machines" was manufactured. Inventor Strite had owned and operated the Strite Tractor Co. from about 1913 until its failure in 1920. After that time Strite worked as a consulting engineer until his death in December 1928. |
