| The pincer handles have loops running on rods attached to a central wooden handle. The rods run at an angle to each other, so that as the handle is pulled away from the tongs the jaws close. The pivot point for the tongs is adjustable. Pat. no. 137,129 is a related idea with a somewhat different configuration. |
