Description:
The innovation here is the use of wheels with convex rims, mated with blades of concave cross-section. This combination would purportedly do away with the need for blade guides. This idea seems to have failed the test of the marketplace. See also the inventor's patent 341,989, which covers the convex-sectioned blades.
