Description:

My invention relates to calipers for measuring inside and outside diameters, comprising a fixed jaw, a movable jaw, and a leading screw for imparting movement to said movable jaw; and it has for its object to improve the construction of such tools in a manner to increase the range of movement of the movable jaw without impairing the accuracy of its adjustment, and to obviate the impairment of said accuracy of adjustment by wear of the parts.
