Description: |
(W. E. Simonds - patent attorney). The spring-loaded adjustment release allows for quick adjustment. The threads are wedge-shaped in cross section. These are well-made wrenches. The six-inch size with solid steel handles rather than the wood handles shown in the patent drawing are most common. Larger sizes with wood handles are known.
Athol Machine Co. was "sole agent" for Standard Tool in the late 1890s, and eventually absorbed Standard Tool. |
