Description: |
The patent describes a pliers or tongs with handle ends that will interlock to hold the jaw adjustment, and also form a stable alligator wrench. The patent drawings and specifications include a screwdriver and gimlet attached to the handles which can be slid out and held firmly by the pliers jaws. After a reissue patent in 1908, a tool based on Fig. 5 of this patent, but actually matching McAslan's July 19, 1910 patent (no. 964,532) was produced |
