Description: |
This railroad tool combines a spike lifter, spike driver, and hex and square wrenches for fish-plate bolts. The spike claw and spike driver are on either end of a solid bar. The wrenches are on either side of a tubular member. The tube acts as an extension handle for the spike claw and as a guide tube for the spike driver. A spring serves as a catch for holding the two portion of the tool together.
In the corresponding Canadian patent no. CA-58,486 issued Dec. 23, 1897, Severance's address is Walla Walla, WA. |
