        Description: |
| The sliding casing has a pin that engages notches on the main shank, while the movable jaw attached to the casing has notches which engage an extension on the shank. A spring inside the casing keeps the notches and pins engaged, and the end of the casing extending toward the handle has a gripping surface. This patent and Parmenter's Oct. 16, 1917 patent (no. 1,243,210) are both cited on the quick adjusting pipe and nut wrench his company manufactured. |
